Sweet and Savory Hot Honey Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts, trimmed (and halved, if preferred) (450 g)
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 2-3 tbsp hot honey (see our hot honey recipe or vegan variations above!)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (~30 g)

Equipment

  • 1 knife for cutting the brussels sprouts stems and/or halving them
  • 1 baking sheet for roasting the sprouts

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden and caramelized.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with hot honey while the sprouts are still hot.
  6. Finish with salt and add walnuts. Serve warm and enjoy!
